Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure aimed at increasing the size and improving the shape of your breasts. This is achieved through the insertion of breast implants or, in some cases, through the transfer of fat from other parts of your body. This surgery is an effective option for women who want to enhance their figure’s proportion, restore lost breast volume after pregnancy or weight loss, or achieve breast symmetry. Each procedure is customized to meet the patient’s needs and desires. It’s always important to have a detailed preoperative consultation to discuss your expectations and ensure you fully understand the process, results, and recovery. My goal is your safety and satisfaction, providing natural and aesthetically pleasing results.

Breast Lift

Breast lift, also known as mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to lift and firm breasts that have lost their shape and firmness due to factors such as age, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight fluctuations. By removing excess skin and reshaping breast tissue, the breasts are repositioned to a higher and more youthful position on the chest. The position of the nipples and areolas can also be adjusted if necessary. Mastopexy does not significantly change breast size, but can be performed in conjunction with breast augmentation or reduction if a size change is desired. The decision to undergo a breast lift is personal and should be made after careful consideration.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction, or reduction mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure that aims to decrease breast size by removing excess fat, breast tissue, and skin. This procedure is often recommended for women experiencing physical discomfort due to the weight of their breasts, including neck, shoulder, and back pain. It can also be an option for those looking to improve their body’s proportion and reduce limitations in physical activity caused by overly large breasts. The procedure is tailored to each patient, and during the preoperative consultation, we discuss your needs and expectations thoroughly. While breast reduction involves certain risks, like any surgery, my goal is to ensure your safety and provide lasting relief from symptoms while enhancing the shape and appearance of your breasts.

Tubular Breasts

Tubular breast surgery is a specialized surgical procedure designed to correct a congenital condition in which the breasts develop abnormally, typically characterized by a narrow breast base, enlarged areola, and uneven distribution of breast tissue. In these cases, the breast can have a tubular or tube-like appearance, hence the name. The goal of the surgery is to reshape and remodel the breast to achieve a rounder and more natural shape. Various techniques can be employed, which may include implant insertion, breast tissue reshaping, and correction of the size and position of the areola.

Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is a condition that affects men, characterized by the enlargement of breast tissue, which can create a feminine breast contour. This condition can result from hormonal imbalances, certain medications, or genetic factors. Surgery to treat gynecomastia involves the removal of excess breast tissue and, in some cases, the removal of excess fat and skin. The goal is to restore a flatter and more natural male chest contour. This procedure can increase confidence and comfort in patients who feel self-conscious about the appearance of their breasts.

Implant Removal

Implant removal, also known as explantation, is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of breast implants previously placed in the breasts. This operation can be performed for various reasons, including complications such as capsular contracture (hardening of the tissue around the implant), implant rupture or displacement, or simply because the patient has decided that she no longer wishes to have implants. Depending on the individual situation of the patient, a breast lift may also be considered at the same time to maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Before and after

It is normal to feel some discomfort or pain in the days following surgery, which is managed with pain medication. Most patients can resume their normal activities after one to two weeks.

Breast implants are not designed to last a lifetime. Generally, they can be expected to last between 10 and 20 years before they may require replacement or removal.

In most cases, yes. The ability to breastfeed after surgery depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used.

Complete recovery can take several weeks, but most patients can return to light activities after one to two weeks.

Yes, but every effort is made to place incisions in less visible areas, such as natural breast creases and folds. Scars typically improve over time.
